Associate Member All parents/guardians/caregivers of registered skaters are required to register as an associate member for insurance purposes.  An Associate member is a member of a Canadian speed skating club/program who contributes as a coach, official, volunteer, or parent and does not participate as a skating member.   21.00 2017-09-01 2018-03-31
Group 1 5-11 years old $425 Tuesday's and Thursday's 7:45-8:30 at the Coca-Cola Center. Cost $425 
These skaters are Active Starts which is under 6 years of age to L2T's about age 12.  

Program runs September 15, 2017 to March 30, 2018

Skaters  learn to skate in a fun and supportive environment with basic drills and lots of fun games. They learn the basics of speed skating including standing on skates, moving forward, stopping, falling, getting up, using the skate blades to push and glide.

The cost of the program includes: ice rental fees and coaching, skate rental, and fees for the Alberta Amateur Speed Skating Association and Speed Skating Canada. Parents can pay for part or all of their skater's program on-line using a credit card, or in person using cheque or cash at the Club registration night.

Intermediate Program

Skaters will continue to develop their skating skills such as cross-overs, concentrating on the fundamentals and developing technical skills.

The cost of the program includes: ice rental fees and coaching, skate rental, and fees for the Alberta Amateur Speed Skating Association and Speed Skating Canada. Parents can pay for part or all of their skater's program on-line using a credit card, or in person using cheque or cash at the Club registration night.

Group 2 T2T's and up $550

Tuesday's 8:30-9:30 and Thursday's 8:30-10:00 at the Coca-Cola Center.  Cost of $550.  These skaters are T2T's and older.

Advanced Program

Skaters will continue to develop speed skating skills and techniques and refine fundamental movement skills.

Program focuses on: building endurance through drills, games and relays; building an aerobic base through conditioning; and focusing on strength training.

The cost of the program includes: ice rental fees and coaching, skate rental, and fees for the Alberta Amateur Speed Skating Association and Speed Skating Canada. Parents can pay for part or all of their skater's program on-line using a credit card, or in person using cheque or cash at the Club registration night.
